“I am not lying! Besides, you can’t be Pontiff Xavi, if you were, prove it!”, Sorin was still trying to doubt though he couldn’t explain the floating tank or what this voice was, he was sure it wasn’t real. It couldn’t be. Pontiff Xavi was in Europe or dead, preferably the latter. “And I’ve done nothing bad, whoever you are, how dare you imply I’ve done something at all!”, he tried to quiet Kyushu as he started fleeing to the ship. He wasn’t running away, more of a brisk walk as he hurried along with the puppy to retreat to his bedroom. Possibly to hide until whatever it was had disappeared.
Whoops- Well this wasn’t going quite as well as he’d expected. But that was nothing he couldn’t overcome. “Do you not remember how that pirate shot canons in your room?” He tugged on Toki’s sleeve- time to make another sign there. “That was not very nice. The pirate lacked love! Don’t you believe me now Sorin? It makes me very sad that you do not believe me!”
Toki had to fight the urge to laugh as he moved the mouth of Xavi so that it would talk to Sorin. As he walked briskly, he made the tank float right behind him, refusing to let him leave. Then, once they were at the walkway onto the ship, he put the tank in the way, blocking Sorin’s escape path. Now for the big finish. One by one in rapid succession, he caused the cannons to go off, knowing that this would startle Sorin well.
